Very quick and easy procedure for me as seller. Alex Cantle was the agent who managed the process and I really had very little to do. My estate agent was Andy O’Neill and he was brilliant he was punctual, professional, very helpful and friendly. He explains how the process works thoroughly. The pictures of my property were great and we quickly had a number of viewings booked in. I decided to do the viewings myself but Andy gave me a plenty advice on how to manage and carry them out. When offers came in he was great speaking to each of the potential buyers to check their situation and negotiating for me. He really helped me make the right choice. Throughout the process he was really helpful and supportive and always on the end of the phone.

A local one was pretty downbeat about the property, (a modern, 3/4 bedroom detatched house) saying it's "only worth what people will pay for it" and our fees are 1.5 % plus vat by the way. Andy O'neill however, was the complete opposite. He was punctual, polite, professional, very upbeat about the saleability of the house. I would say he was slightly salesy, but without the hard sell. We agreed on a sale price that I thought was higher than the average sale price in the area. I had my doubts about this, but Andy convinced me to go for it and see what happened. Well, as it turned out, Andy was spot on in his judgement. My property sold within 2 days of going online and for a much higher price than I'd imagined. He came to the property to do the valuation and could not believe how much work he had put into it, he knew every fact and figure of the area and based the valuation on this, not some pie in the sky figure some of the other local agents had given me. I sold my house within 9 days of it going on the market and Andy negotiated with the buyer and got me the price I wanted.
